Name: Shannon

Hometown: I was born in Jacksonville, FL, but have lived in Perry and Warner Robins since age 15.

Position at Spillers Ortho: Lead Scheduling Coordinator/Communications Coordinator.

Length of time at Spillers Ortho: 17 years in December.

What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a judge because I have a strong sense of justice. I hate to see people treated unfairly. Besides, I look great in black!

What was your first job? I waited tables at Riley’s in Perry. It’s closed now.

Favorite meal/food: PASTA!

Favorite band/music: Country music is my favorite, but I like all kinds!

Favorite TV series: Friends.

What accomplishment are you proudest of? I’m proudest of my two daughters. They’ve grown into beautiful women, inside and out.

What do you like to do in your spare time? I like to read, watch movies and spend time with family!

What do you wish you were doing right now? I wish I were in the mountains with my husband, hiking and enjoying nature. Fall is my favorite season. Also, I’d like to be away from the humidity.

What is one place you want to travel right now? I’d love to go to Washington State or Oregon.

Do you have children or pets? I have two daughters, Jessie and Steph, and a baby grandson named Brooks. We also have three dogs– Sammy, Cookie, and Buddy!

Any pet peeves? Rudeness.

What are you most grateful for in your life? I’m most grateful for my family and friends.
