Am I a candidate for Invisalign or SO Clear Aligners?
Without knowing your age or condition, the answer is yes—as long as you’re ready to commit to treatment! We created SO Clear Aligners to be able to offer clear aligner treatment for everyone. While Invisalign can treat a wide range of conditions, it isn’t ideal for some of the less complex cases that require minor tooth movement.
With Spillers Orthodontics Clear Aligners, our very own custom clear aligners that we print in-house in our 3-D printing lab, we can perform minimal tooth movement to treat patients with 10 aligners or less. This enables us to help you achieve better results in the shortest amount of time.
With alternative clear aligners, you’ll likely be paying full price for treatment that isn’t designed to meet your specific needs. Our doctors can treat crowded teeth, crooked teeth, gaps, and some complex bite conditions with SO Clear Aligners.
Your treatment is designed for you. Once our experienced orthodontists examine your condition, we’ll determine what length of treatment is best for your case. If you require minimal tooth movement, SO Clear Aligners may be best for you! If you require a longer, more intensive treatment, Invisalign treatment may be best for you.
Either way, if you’re ready to wear your clear aligners as instructed, you’re a candidate for clear aligners. It’s just a matter of which type of clear aligners will produce the best results in your case.
Who is not a candidate for Invisalign or SO Clear aligners?
When considering clear aligner treatment, it’s important to remember that you’ll have to wear your aligners for at least 20 to 22 hours a day for your treatment to be effective.
If you’re not ready to commit to wearing your clear aligners as instructed, you would not be a good candidate for clear aligner treatment. In this case, braces would be better suited for your lifestyle.
