We are pleased to award two local high school seniors with the Spillers Orthodontics Scholarship. This is the seventh year of the scholarship program, which enables us to give back to our orthodontic families and to reward those students with a drive and desire to make a positive difference in our community and the world. Each winner receives a $1,000 scholarship to assist with first-year college expenses.
“We are excited to invest in our future leaders,” says Dr. Don Spillers. “This year’s recipients are not only incredibly bright, but also people of integrity, character and vision, and it is our pleasure to support them in pursuit of their educational goals.”
Both former patients, the 2020 Spillers Orthodontics Scholarship recipients are Bethany Brewton and Colton Walker.
Brewton, a Warner Robins resident and Houston County High School graduate, will attend Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA. A Bonaire resident and Veterans High School graduate, Walker will attend Georgia Southern University in Statesboro.
Selected from numerous applications by an impartial board, Brewton and Walker were chosen based on achievement, leadership and service throughout their high school years. They also received excellent recommendations.
Applications for the 2021 scholarship are due March 1, 2021. For more information about the Spillers Orthodontics Scholarship, or to access the scholarship application, please visit this page!
