When you visit one of our orthodontists near you, you’ll be met with smiling faces. Dr. Spillers, Dr. Gordon, and Dr. Trey Spillers, and our wonderful team are always delighted to meet new patients during their initial visit to our office!
Your First Visit
Your first appointment is complimentary and includes diagnostic records consisting of X-rays, photos, and a digital scan of your teeth. Our orthodontists will use these records to understand your orthodontic treatment needs and provide an explanation of your available treatment options; including Invisalign, SO Clear Aligners, various types of braces, and orthodontic appliances. Dr. Spillers, Dr. Gordon, and Dr. Trey Spillers, will also address any questions or concerns that you may have.
During your initial appointment, our orthodontists will address the following questions:
Is there a condition that can be corrected with orthodontics?
Is treatment appropriate now, or should it be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth
eruption, or other conditions have occurred?
What procedures will be used to correct the issue?
Do any teeth need to be removed?
How long will the treatment be?
How much will the treatment cost?
We want to answer all of your questions!
We can answer most questions about treatment during the initial examination, but in some cases our orthodontists will make recommendations after a more detailed analysis of your diagnostic records.
Please assist us by providing the following information when you come in for your initial appointment:
- If you have orthodontic insurance benefits, please bring your insurance card. This will allow us to give you an estimate of your insurance benefit.
- To expedite the check-in process, complete our patient forms online and submit them at least one day prior to your appointment.
